The Counterweight Programme is an evidence based weight management programme for adults aged 18 and above. 

  • It is a structured lifestyle programme based upon everyday foods,drinks and activity
  • There are 9 key education appointments delivered over 1 year by a trained Counterweight Practitioner
  • The programme empowers overweight and obese individuals to make long term changes to their eating and activity behaviours
  • There are 3 key stages: screening, active weight loss and weight loss maintenance
  • The programme can be delivered to customers individually or in a group setting  
  • All stages of the programme are supported by evidence based, high quality educational resources
