Counterweight Clinicians

Counterweight has been implemented in the following Health Boards/CHPs. In each area, the Counterweight Specialist facilitates the implementation of the programme with a locally-based clinician who is referred to as the NHS Counterweight Clinician (formerly referred to as the buddy clinican). It is the NHS Counterweight Clinican who continues to support the programme post implementation.
