The team who rewrote the book on type 2 diabetes

Our Counterweight-Plus programme was the first weight loss programme to combine meal replacement with behavioural change and dietitian support to help people lose large amounts of weight and keep it off long term. Our programme was used in the DiRECT clinical trial, the world’s largest ever study of type 2 diabetes remission funded by Diabetes UK. The programme was so successful that it made waves in the medical world and changed the understanding of the treatment and management of type 2 diabetes.
